Highways with oncoming traffic
On divided highways you can fly across the median into the oncoming lanes. Pickups collected there count double – a risk that pays off.
KRV Games · Android
Jet Highway: Fly or Crash is a free arcade driving game for Android by KRV Transporte und Dienstleistungen e. K. (Langenfeld, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany): an electric sports car drives on its own along endless roads, one swipe changes lanes, one tap lifts it off over the traffic with jet boosters.
Fly, collect rockets, keep the battery charged – and don’t crash.
The idea
The game idea came after the presentation of the Tesla Roadster. Elon Musk presented the electric sports car with rocket thrusters – an electric car with jets that was meant to be more than just fast. Then came the thought: why not simply make a game out of it? At KRV we usually build tools for everyday work. This time we wanted to build something for entertainment – a car that, instead of braking in dense traffic, just flies over the trucks.
The answer is Jet Highway: the car drives on its own, you only decide about lane and lift-off. The battery drains while you drive and refills with lightning bolts – an electric car, only with jets.
Tesla and Tesla Roadster are trademarks of Tesla, Inc. Jet Highway: Fly or Crash is an independent game by KRV Transporte und Dienstleistungen e. K., is not affiliated with Tesla, Inc. or Elon Musk and shows no real vehicle brands or models.
How to play
The car accelerates on its own. You take care of the lane, the take-off and the battery.
Swipe left or right to change lanes. In the air a lane change becomes a barrel roll.
A tap fires the jet boosters and the car flies at one cruise altitude just above the trucks. Hold your finger down to fly longer, as long as the jet tank lasts.
The battery drains while you drive. Blue lightning bolts recharge it, rockets pay for upgrades. When the battery is empty, the run is over.
Good to know: Landing on a car or hitting a sign in the air ends the run. Trucks and buses, however, are safe to land on – except in tunnels.
Roads that keep changing
On divided highways you can fly across the median into the oncoming lanes. Pickups collected there count double – a risk that pays off.
On country roads oncoming cars share your road. They honk and flash their lights before a head-on crash.
In tunnels the car rolls onto the ceiling and keeps driving upside down. Trucks and buses stay in the right lane here.
Warning signs announce roadworks. Barriers and cones can simply be smashed – the excavator in the middle cannot.
About every 5 kilometers the barriers come down and a train crosses the road. Traffic queues up in front of it – or the car flies right over.
Other drivers use their blinkers before they change lanes. Read the signals and you will see trouble coming.

More to discover
Germany, Italy, the United Kingdom, the USA, Japan and Norway unlock with the distance you drive. The UK and Japan drive on the left. The scenery changes every 2 kilometers – from meadows and forest to desert, snow, coast, the Alps and a neon city at night.
Spend collected rockets on longer flight time, faster jet recharge and a more efficient battery. 20 achievements give extra rockets.
